Elena Roce (1994.) was born in Pula (Croatia), where she completed her elementary and high school education. After successfully obtaining degree in organ in the class of E. Kancelar, she enrolled in MA Zagreb studying organ as principal subject. A year later, she graduated solo singing in the class of C. Pelčić. She gained several regional and state awards (categories: organ, singing, chamber music) and participated in many organ and singing masterclasses, associated mostly with medieval, renaissance and baroque music (K. Livljanić, J. Cabré, V. Gyura, T. Ospital, L. Robilliard, R. Bot, T. Trotter, B. van Oosten, H. van der Kamp, C. McFadden…). Beside organ recitals and chamber concerts, she has been performing early music singing repertoires accompanied by lutenist E. Stein and organist K. Klarić on festivals such as: Dvigrad Festival, Zrin Fest, Eufrazijana Concerts, Vukovar Festival, St. Joseph Musical Evenings in Karlovac, Dverce Palace Concerts, Archaeological Museum Zagreb Concert Cycles, Organum Histriae, Heferer cycles, Musical evenings in St Donat, Organ festival ”Petar Nakić”, Lunchconcerts in Singlekerk Amsterdam, Kaasmarkt concerts Alkmaar, De Waalse Kerk lunch concerts ecc. From 2012 she was holding the position of the conductor and main organist in Cathedral of Saint Mary’s Assumption in Pula, conducted Soli Deo Gloria vocal ensemble. Also, from 2015 she has been singing in oratorium choir Cantores Sancti Marci and renaissance ensemble Marco Polo. In 2017 she became external associate at the primary and high Music school in Karlovac and artistic director/producent of Organum Histriae international organ festival. In 2018 she was accepted on Erasmus+ exchange mobility at Conservatorium van Amsterdam in organ class of M. Havinga. Also, she participated in professional chamber choir project of contemporary music „Meesters & Gezellen“ under the direction of N. Schweckendiek, M. Romano and G. Berghs. In 2019, after finishing her studies in Zagreb, she has started master studies in classical organ department at Conservatorium van Amsterdam (M. Havinga, P. van Dijk). In 2020. she also enroled for bacheleor study at the Early music department, voice with X. Meijer. With her colleague, K. Klarić she founded ”Association for promotion and protection of organ heritage Organum Histriae”.
